Bottled poetry from the Valais

Our wine list is like the CERVO itself: a big swiss influence, open for other regions and countries and with attention to detail. We know a lot of from winegrowers personally. One of our favorites is Andy Varonier from Varen. His home is in the second largest wine Village in the Valais and since 1969 still in the hand of the Varonier Family. Andy is always open to be part of something unique. When Daniel’s and Seraina’s sons were born, he made a special wine for them. The Teddy D. (pure Cabernet Franc) and the Konstantin A. (Assemblage of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Merlot). They are, like their sons, much stronger than other Swiss wine. So when you like drinking Wines from Toskana, Bordeaux or Bolgheri and you would like to try a Swiss wine for the first time, drink one of those. You will be impressed. Furthermore, Andy has one of the best Johannisberg (White wine, better known as Sylvaner) in Switzerland. With us you can enjoy it by the glass or by the bottle. He thinks it’s liquid Gold….. and we think he’s right 😉
